Enterprise authentication, without the pain

This week, we’re excited to announce a key milestone in our build journey: Support Fusion now comes with enterprise-grade identity built in.
From day one, we knew security couldn’t be an afterthought. MSPs and IT teams work in high-trust environments - and they expect login, admin, and audit features that hold up under scrutiny.
So instead of building it all ourselves, we partnered with another Aussie startup doing great things in the identity space: Prefactor.
What’s new?
We’ve integrated Prefactor’s authentication platform directly into Support Fusion, which means:
-
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) from the first login
-
Single Sign-On (SSO) via Google and Microsoft Entra
-
Magic links, passwordless login, and session control
-
Audit-ready logs for compliance-conscious customers
It’s fast, secure, and designed for the real-world environments our users operate in.
Why we partnered, not built
Could we have built it ourselves? Sure. But we’re not here to reinvent identity. We’re here to help MSPs and enterprises sync faster, solve better, and grow smarter, and that means knowing when to bring in the right people.
Prefactor’s platform gave us the security capabilities we needed in days, not months - letting us focus on what makes Support Fusion special: workflow intelligence, not login screens.
Hear from the team
In this week’s Friday Build Update, our CTO Steve is joined by Prefactor CTO Simon Russell to walk through the integration and share why this matters for our early customers.
What’s next?
This is just one part of a bigger build. With authentication in place, we’re full steam ahead on refining our ServiceNow–ConnectWise connector, working with early partners on field mapping, and getting ready for general access.
If you’re a security-conscious MSP or enterprise who needs both platforms to talk, without skipping compliance - we’d love to show you what we’re building.
Support Fusion helps managed service providers and enterprise IT teams integrate ticketing, automate reporting, and grow smarter - starting with the handshake, not just the ticket.
